Teja's room looks as it always does -- spare and simple, with a map table holding writings and drawings, a CD player and a stack of CDs, armour and some weapons in a corner, the door to the bath ajar so cats can go there if they wish to.

But the light of the moon -- almost full still! -- reveals some differences, also.

Teja gives a long of contentment.

"I love you," he says. "More than ever."

"I love you too." He laid his head back against the dense pillow, lazily drawing his fingers down Teja's sides.

Teja breathes very deeply, relaxed and quiet, sleepy again, warm and safe.

He gives a little inarticulate murmur.

Charlie gently brushes the tip of his nose against Teja's, giving a soft kiss. "This is nice, laying here with you."

"Hmmm - mmm," Teja says.

He kisses Charlie back, and falls silent.

Charlie merely nuzzles into Teja's embrace and smiles to himself.

The quiet comfort needs no words.
