The entire historical sources from which Felix Dahn constructed his fictional Teja can be found here, written up in a Wiki-like article by the author himself.

Not all of that is current - all other online sources place the Battle of Taginae in 552 which gives Teja just those three months of rule - but that is what Dahn knew and leaned on when he made up his fictional hero.
